Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE KLEPATZ (nee PASETKA) Peacefully at Taché Centre on Wednesday May 7, 2008, our Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, friend and mentor, Marie, passed into the arms of her Saviour, to join her husband Walter. Marie was born July 9, 1922, at her parent's home in Birds Hill, Manitoba. She was the youngest child of, and predeceased by, her parents Theodore and Barbara Pasetka along with her four siblings, Sophie, Nicolas, John, and Anita May. Her memory will be cherished by her three children, Gary (Debbie), George (Aletta), Arlene Berezuk (Claude Huot); her grandchildren, Crystal, Dale, Ryan, Kyle, Kevin (Jen), Andrea Simmons (Chris); and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Tye, and Dane. Marie was predeceased by her son-in-law Tom Berezuk in 2004. Also remembering Marie will be her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends. As a young woman, Marie toured throughout Canada with her sister Anita during their singing careers, until she met Walter and choose marriage and family as her lifetime endeavour. Throughout her life Marie loved cooking, sewing, crafts, fishing, spending time at the cabin, and traveling the world through her extensive reading on many cultures, people, places, and world issues. Special thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at Taché Centre, for all the love and care they have given our Mother over the past two years. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Urn Placement will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
