ANNE GURSKI (SCHEPANIUK)
Born: Oct 16, 1916
Date of Passing: May 05, 2008
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE GURSKI (nee SCHEPANIUK) October 16, 1916 - May 5, 2008 Mom journeyed to Heaven on Monday, May 5, 2008. Her mission in life spanned 91 years. Remaining to forever cherish Mom's memory are her two daughters Joanne (Dave) and Valerie (Mike); grandchildren, Steven (Tracy) and Kelly (Jason); and great-grandchildren Addison and Erick. With her special way, Mom will also be missed by many relatives and friends. Mom grew up on the family farm in Broad Valley, Manitoba. At an early age she moved to Winnipeg to continue on the winding road of life. On September 20, 1951 she married the love of her life Julian Gurski. Together they built their lives which included two daughters and a family home. Dad died suddenly in 1955 leaving Mom to continue on without him. Mom's philosophy of Tomorrow will take care of itself AND everything will be okay got her through the rest of her life. Mom lived in the family home until she was 90 years old. Due to failing health she moved to St. Joseph's Residence. In compliance with Mom's wishes, a private celebration of her life has taken place. Interment has taken place in Elmwood Cemetery. We would like to thank all the staff at St. Joseph's Residence who treated Mom with such respect and kindness while providing such excellent care. A special Thanks to all the evening staff who personally said goodbye to Mom and treated our family with tenderness and caring. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mom's memory can be made to a charity which is near and dear to your heart. Mom, everything will be okay
