DANILO C. VENTURA February 21, 1955 May 9, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Danilo Ventura on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Riverview Health Centre. Danilo is predeceased by father Crispulo Ventura; brother Gregorio, and niece Giselle Garcia and leaves to mourn; wife Marissa, children; Melissa, Chris, Calvin and Charles, mother Aurora Ventura; sisters, Josie Jimena (Jessie) and Zeny Embong Merene (Manny), Connie Ventura and Mila Santos, nieces and nephews, Adrian, Marieanne, Joseph, Jason, Jeffrey, Jessica, Ian, Jennifer, JR, Isabelle, Ayra, and Kookie (Pet). Danny will also be missed by his uncles, aunties, cousins, family and friends who live in Winnipeg, California, Calgary, Vancouver, and Philippines. Pallbearers will be Totoy Cleofas, Steve Olea, Nick Oquialda, Hayden Tugade, Ding Luna, Basil Tabugo, Roger Bernardo, Ernie Pili, Rene Pili and Leonard Tolentino. Lamay will be held on Tuesday, May 13, and Wednesday, May 14, from 6:0 0p.m. until 12:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin Street at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 with interment at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the reception centre following the burial. The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who cared for him, the doctors, nurses and staff at CCM and Riverview Health Centre, and also to the Palliative Care nurse, Maryann.
