MABEL CHRISTINA PARK (nee MORRIS) 1923 2008 Passed away peacefully on Friday evening, surrounded by her loving family, as the red glow of a glorious sunset shone through her window. Mabel lived a wonderful life married to Doug for 53 years. They traveled extensively by air and auto, meeting many new friends along the way. Mabel was an active member of the Riverside Social Club and leaves many friends behind at 1660. Mabel worked part time at Eatons, Zellers and Felicity Gift Shop, but her main focus was raising her two sons Allan and Bruce, whom she adored. She was predeceased by the love of her life Doug. She will be lovingly remember by her two sons; daughter-in-law Vella; grandchildren, Ryan, Brad, Garrett, Courtney and Gavin; great-grandson Aidan; sisters-in-law Emily, Maisie and Jackie, and extended family and friends. Special love to Elaine with whom she shared many Saturday chats. Special thanks to the compassionate nurses of 3W Concordia Hospital. Service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m at Klassen Funeral Home. Chaplain Mark Young to officiate. Tho I shall not pass your way again, you will not forget me as I have left footprints on your soul that will last a lifetime. Flowers gratefully declined.
