Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUDY KALUPAR October 18, 1942 - May 10, 2008 Hey Rudy, hey dad, we miss you so much already, our hearts are heavy, we were together with you until the end. You fought a tough battle, you were so strong and now you rest. We will love you forever and always. Love Joan, Lisa, Cheryl and Rudy Jr. Rudy was predeceased by his parents, Mike and Katie Kalupar; brothers, Bill, Mike, Joe, Mac, Peter and Steve; and his sister Jean. Rudy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Joan of 43 years; daughters, Lisa Rintoul (Del) and Cheryl (Darren); son Rudy Jr.; grandchildren, Hailey, Harleigh, Austin, Jenna, Hope and Katie; and his pet dog Nugget. He is also survived by; his sisters, Mary (Bob) Sobiak, Anne (Mike) Swidnicki, Irene (Cliff) Ross, Shirley (Art) Schultz and Vivian (Paul) Sedlbauer; brothers, Nick, Stan, Alex and Edward (Denise); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rudy was born in Selkirk, MB and was raised in the Birds Hill area. He worked at Westons Bakery for over 30 years. Rudy had a great love of the outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He always looked forward to the Kalupar Kamping Weekend. Each and every Sunday dinner was spent with his kids and grandkids always telling jokes. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, with viewing one half hour prior to prayers. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15 at 10:00 am also at Glen Eden. Interment and reception will follow. The family wishes to thank Dr. Hameed, Dr. Tan, Dr. Mittoo, the staff of B3 and A4 at Health Sciences Centre for all of your wonderful care. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111
