She is also survived by two sisters, Helen Nedotiafko and Victoria Larabie and brother-in-law Bill Stutsky (Elsie) and sister-in-law Peggy Kibsey (Adam). Marlene will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Charlie, their infant daughter Sharon, her brother Herman Johnson and her parents Victor and Lena Johnson. Mom was a hardworking, loving homemaker who loved gardening, baking, sewing, traveling, camping, having regular family gatherings, visiting her many friends and relatives and working the family farm with dad. Marlene was born and raised on a farm in Ponemah, MB. She met and married Charlie in 1955, they moved to Edmonton, AB for a short time and then returned to Winnipeg Beach to farm and raise their family. In her mid 30s Marlene was struck with MS and struggled with this disease on a daily basis. Her disposition was always one of gentleness and smiles. She resided at the Betel Home in Gimli for the past 10 years. We would like to thank the caregivers of Home Care and the Betel, Dr. R.C. Patel and the nursing staff at Gimli Community Health Centre.
