MARYANNE VIVIAN (UHRYN) It is with sadness we announce the passing of Maryanne Vivian, at the age of 71, on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 following a lengthy battle with cancer at the Grace Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Murray and children, Lori Gerber, Terry Conn (Gregory) and Donna Tremblay (Ken); as well as grandchildren, Angela, Martha and Christopher Gerber, Miranda and Paul Conn and Scott and Danielle Tremblay. Maryanne is also survived by sisters Susan Menard and Margaret (Bill) Nodrick; sister-in-law Donna McLean; cousin Jean Polish; her hairstylist and good friend Grace Kurowski, as well as many nieces and nephews. Maryanne was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Sophie Uhryn, brother-in-law Milo McLean, brother-in-law Moise Menard and grandson Dustin Gerber. The family wishes to thank Dr. Pat Harris and the medical staff at Grace Hospital for their wonderful support and care, especially Dale and Kathy. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 16 in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. between 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home with The Reverend Lyndon Hutchison-Hounsell officiating. A reception will follow the service. If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
