IRIS LELA JEPPESEN (nee LITTLE) October 20, 1924 - May 12, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Monday, May 12, 2008 at the age of 83. Iris was born in Hilton, Manitoba on October 20, 1924 to Robert and Hazel Little. She was raised in a family with 14 children. She spent most of her adult life in Winnipeg. She had two sons and three daughters as well many foster children throughout the years. She enjoyed knitting (she made sure that no one had cold feet), bingo, baseball and country music, but her favourite pastime was playing games with anyone willing. Left to mourn is her children, Mervyn, Sharyn (Bob), Diane, Doreen (Drew), her sister Blanche, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her son Ron, her mother and father and many brothers and sisters. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Mosaic Funeral Chapel at 1839 Inkster Boulevard, Winnipeg. Interment to follow in the Hilton Cemetery, Hilton, Manitoba at approximately 3:00 p.m. Jamieson Funeral Services in care of arrangements (204-827-2480).
