LINDA ROGOZ (nee SAKOWSKI) It is with great sadness on May 12, 2008 Linda Rogoz Sakowski. Mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, passed away with her family and friends surrounding her after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her children Marlo, Trevor, son-in-law Jim, grandchildren, Anneleigh, Logan, mother Mary, brother Glen, sister Mildred, brother-in-law Mark, niece Carrie, and nephew Jason. Linda is predeceased by her father Joe Sakowski, step-father, Mike Meldowych, brother Bernie, sister-in-law Rose. Mom had many interests and activities. Some of her favourites were leisurely car rides, reading, cooking. She was a very creative painter and writer. She loved decorating and gardening, she love to be at home always working on her surroundings. Mom loved the Lord and attended Calvary Temple for many years. She was a very kind, sensitive, and caring person. The family would like to extend thanks to Concordia emergency and special thanks to the Intensive Care Unit for the excellent care with our Mother. A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. east with a reception to follow. A private family interment will follow at a later date at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation of Manitoba.
