Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMWO RONALD STEPHEN SALES (RETIRED) October 15, 1926 - May 14, 2008 Peacefully on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, we lost our mentor and patriarch. Left to mourn is his loving wife of 61 years, Olive, sons Larry (Irina), Doug (Patty), daughters Marilyn and Earl Blom and Sharon Duckworth (Don), as well as nine grandchildren and one and a half great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly. Also survived by sister Doreen (Vern Hardie) and brother Ray. Ron was predeceased by his brother Norm (Bev). Ron had a rewarding military career spanning 35 years, followed by a ten year career with the Langford Fire Department, where he was instrumental in implementing the 911 system. Memorial service to be held Wednesday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m. at Sands Funeral Chapel, 187 Trunk Road in Duncan, BC.
