PETER (YUET TOY) CHOY After a lengthy illness, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Peter Choy on May 13, 2008 at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife, Lai Yung. His children, David (Carol), Cathy (Michael) and Victor (Heather). His grandchildren, Jazzmin, Micazz and Justin. Dad and Mom ran Choy's Restaurant for 17 years, and after retiring, he turned his passion to golfing and enjoying the company of his grandchildren. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of their parent's neighbours, especially Barney and Anne, Brian and Subash, in supporting Peter through his illness. Also, thank you's to Dr. Johnston, Nurse Erin and the staff at CancerCare for their kindness and compassionate care. Dad, Grandpa, we will miss you dearly, but you will live on in our hearts and memories forever. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 19 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home on Sherbrook Street. A service will also be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home on Sherbrook Street. Following the service, interment will be at Brookside cemetery.
