Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY PODOLSKI (nee SHALAY) Mary passed away peacefully on May 9, 2008. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael, her parents Steve and Katherine Shalay; brother John Shalay; sisters Anne (Emil) Walterson and Stephanie (William) Kolenda. Left to mourn her passing are her nieces Alice (Don) Capri, Heather (Gerry) Prescott, Gail (Vic) Calladine and Eleanor (Wayne) Norburn. Mary was born and lived all her life in Winnipeg. She attended Lord Nelson Elementary and Isaac Newton High Schools. Mary was employed at Pepsi Cola Co. and then at T. Eaton Co. as telephone operator for many years. With her husband Mike, Mary travelled to Europe, The Bahamas and many times to Vegas. Cremation has taken place and as per Mary's wishes there will be no funeral service.
