MURIEL PATRICIA (PAT) NISBET Peacefully, on May 12, 2008, Pat Nisbet passed away at Concordia Place Care Centre, in her 93rd year. Pat was born on September 30, 1914, to Elizabeth (Nannie) and John Kirkpatrick. She was educated and resided in Winnipeg all her life. Pat is survived by one sister, Rhoda Cummings, nephews Burton Cummings (Cheryl) and Jim Crooks (Audrey), grandnieces Susan Posaluzney (Tim) and Nancy Ito (Rick), as well as many other nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Pat was predeceased by her husband George, sister Molly Crooks, brothers Robert and Jack, sister-in-law Nettie and brother-in-law John. Pat was employed in the fashion and millinery industry and in later years was a medical receptionist. Pat was very active in the Anglican Church all her life. She was a loving and caring person, an avid reader and a lover of music of all kinds. A remembrance service will take place on Thursday, May 22, at Lions Place, 610 Portage Avenue, at 2:00 p.m. A private interment will take place at a later date.
