MARGARET (MADGE) TAYLOR Peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre Madge passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the age of 94. Madge is survived by her husband Charles; son Brian (Nina); grandson Kelly (Heather and children, Katie and Zak); granddaughter Heather (Jeff) Copp; great-grandchildren, Michael and Emily, as well as her sister Edith. Madge was predeceased by her siblings, Dolly, Edna, Kathleen, Tom, and Helen. Madge was very kind, generous and thoughtful, she never forgot a birthday. Madge adored her grandchildren. She loved to crochet and knit, everyone in the family has afghans and heirlooms made by her in their homes. Everyone was welcome in her home and we will all miss her fabulous baking. She enjoyed card games and above all special times and outings with her grandchildren. Charles and Madge lived in Charleswood for over 50 years. Madge was a lifetime member of the Charleswood Legion and was very involved in the Ladies Auxiliary. Madge, Cicily and Clara became known as the Three Musketeers with the Legion Auxiliary as they worked so closely together on many projects. Madge worked tirelessly at numerous fundraising events in the community. She always looked forward to her Eaton's Retirement Luncheons with her good friend Cicily. The family would like to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre, 7 East for making Mom's last years very peaceful. A memorial service and reception will take place on Wednesday, May 21 at 12:00 p.m. at the Charleswood Legion. Private interment will take place prior to the service. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
