NELLIE CWIOK (nee LESKO) Peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2008, Nellie Cwiok passed away at Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 86 years. Nellie was predeceased by her husband John and her daughter Wendy. Remaining to cherish her memory are her children Joyce (Reg) Ballam and Ken (Carol) Cwiok, her grandchildren David (Pascale) Ballam of Québec City, Kerri Ballam of Wainfleet, ON, Adam Cwiok, and Andrew Cwiok, and great-grandchild Ana s Ballam. Nellie was born in Landerville, MB on September 26, 1921. She moved to Winnipeg in her late teens where she met and married John. She liked to spend her time surrounded by her family and taking care of her grandchildren when they were young. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved flowers and plants. A Memorial Service will he held on Thursday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
