Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDENNIS MCGINLAY ROSE July 9, 1935 - May 15, 2008 With sadness we announce the passing of our much-loved husband, father, grandpa at the age of 72 on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Oakview Extendicare. Dennis is survived by his wife Lillian, son Dennis (Lindsay), daughter Wendy (Brad) Krahn, also his three angels, Heather and Ashley Krahn, and Claire Rose. Dad was born in Dundee, Scotland, married Lillian and came to Winnipeg in 1956. He retired from City of Winnipeg after 30 years service. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Parkinson's Society Manitoba, 302-171 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB, R3C 1M4 or to a charity of your choice. Aunty Lil, Wendy and Denny, Our sincere condolences to each of you at this difficult time. I have so many wonderful memories of my "Uncle" Dennis....birthdays, holidays, Christmas/New Years. I fondly recall how he always made me feel special when we visited.....and had a wonderful sense of humour. Hold tight to your memories, to help you through the days ahead. Each person that enters our lives contributes to our own uniqueness....I am fortunate to have known Uncle Dennis....and I am thankful for his contributions to my life.
