MARY ELIZABETH BEECH Peacefully, on Thursday, May 15, 2008, Mary Beech passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 90 years. Mary is survived by her niece and nephews, Sarah Beech and John (Lesley) Beech of Toronto and Allan Beech (Susan Marshall) of Winnipeg, their families, her extended family and many friends. She was predeceased by her brother Jack Beech. Employed with the Canadian Wheat Board in Winnipeg for many years, Mary enjoyed badminton, travelling and hiking and was an avid bridge player. Upon retiring, she spent the winters in Victoria, BC and the summers at her much loved Victoria Beach cottage at Victoria Beach. Mary will always be remembered for her witty and gracious nature. The family would like to thank everyone who has helped over the last four years since Mary's return to Winnipeg four years ago. Funeral service 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate Street, Winnipeg with The Venerable Fletcher Stewart officiating.
