Antoinette Amanda Gauthier passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Villa Youville in St. Anne, MB. Antoinette was predeceased by her husband Wilfred in 2002, daughter Florence Dupas in 2005, parents Olivier and Ernstine (Fiola) Fillion, siblings Jeanne Hupe, Aurore Desaulets, Lucienne Zugelder and Aimé, brothers-in-law Romeo Hupe, Nicholas Desautels, Arthur Massicotte, Gerard Roy, Gererd Proulx and Otto Zugelder. Surviving are her daughter Juliette (Terry) Wozney, Rachelle (Gary) Kerr, son-in-law Raymond Dupas, grandchildren Clayton (Dee) Wozney, Darlene (Blair) Bastian, Karen (Paul) Colson, Brent Wozney, Colleen Hyslop, Lynn (Doug) Taylor, Jodie (Trevor) Zemleduk, Suzanne Kerr, Lee Anne Kerr; great-grandchildren Leigha Hyslop, Evan Hyslop, Tyler Skinner, Taylor Skinner, Braden Taylor, Dylan Taylor, Fischer Zemleduk, Easton Zemleduk, Benjamin Colson, Jacob Colson and Sam Colson. Also survived by her sisters Louisa Vandale, Noella Trudeau, Simone Massicotte, Merisa and Lorraine Vincent; brother Elie (Adele) Fillion and sister-in-law Hughette Fillion. Antoinette was born September 13, 1917 in Ste. Anne. She grew up on a farm, attended country school, did domestic work and when old enough worked in St. Boniface. She married Wilfred Gauthier on October 23, 1937. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23, 2008 10:30 a.m. at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Parish, Ste. Anne, MB with viewing to start at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Antoinette's memory may be made to Villa Youville Inc. Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Building Fund or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
