Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMIL DORVAL September 3, 1931 - May 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Emil Dorval at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife Jean, the love of his life for over 55 years. Emil was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Emil also leaves to mourn his children Jacqueline Johnson (John), Diane Votto (Norbert) and Paul Dorval (Pat). Emil had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren Kelly (Gail), Kerri (Rich), Sean, Morgan, Thomas, John, Scott, and Renée. You would see the joy in his eyes whenever they came to visit. He was also so very proud to be a great-grandfather to Jude, Sadie and Brooke. One of Emil's greatest loves was the time spent living at Flanders Lake. He loved when friends and neighbours dropped by for a visit and was always there to lend a helping hand. Emil will be truly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A truly wonderful man. I have so many lovely memories of him coming to the home of Mervyn and Rosemarie Gork also now deceased with his wife and often family to play card games and celebrate special occasions.
