Saunders announce his peaceful passing on May 16, 2008 at his residence in Winnipeg. He leaves his wife Jessie Saunders; his children Robert, Janice, James and daughter-in-law Donna as well as several grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Bill joins his first wife Betty in lasting peace. In lieu of flowers, sending a donation to the ALS Society of Manitoba would be greatly appreciated.
