MARGARET CAROLINE BRUCE (nee ZOLLER) 1918 - 2008 Peacefully and in her sleep Margaret passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Charleswood Care Centre in Winnipeg. She is survived by her son Randall Douglas Bruce and daughter Pamela Sydney Eagleton (Ross) granddaughters Sydney Jane Yoshida (Christopher) and Elizabeth Alice Eagleton; sister Erna Sullivan (Robert); sister-in-law Norma MacLeod (John) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas Sidney Bruce and her sister Ruth Meder. Marg was born and raised in Winnipeg attending St. John's High School and St. Giles United Church. She married Doug in 1940 and started raising their family in St. Vital moving to Fort Garry in 1957. She enjoyed many years curling and socializing at the Wildewood Club and playing bridge with an incredible group of ladies. Summers were spent at Clearwater Bay fishing and boating with Doug. Marg had a tremendous sense of humour and laughter was always present in the family home. Her granddaughters were her life. The family would like to thank the fantastic staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for their wonderful care and for making Mom's life special.
