PERCY THOMAS EDWARDS November 11, 1925 - May 19, 2008 On May 19, 2008 at the River East Personal Care Home, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Percy Thomas Edwards, passed away at age 82 years. Percy leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his beloved wife of 62 years, Audrey; daughters, Pat (Bob) Klymchuk and Bev (Jack) Reidiger; grandchildren, Kenny (Shannon), Kathy (Joel), Kevin, Jenna, Erin and Michael; great-granddaughters, Emma and Maggie; and his sister Kay. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Kate, brothers, George and Frank and sister Mary. Percy enjoyed his time spent at the family cottage at Rice Lake, Ontario, where fishing and picking blueberries were favourite pastimes. Auctions were also a passion with Percy's collections of Royal Doulton Toby jugs and wooden clocks. Percy was also adept at refinishing furniture, with rocking chairs now enjoyed by many. Gardening was another hobby with his prized tomatoes in the backyard. As per Percy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial service has been held.
