ARTHUR RAY LOVETT August 2, 1925 - May 22, 2008 Art was born and raised in Milestone, Saskatchewan. He married Miriam on May 3, 1949 and was her better half for 59 years. Art spent his working years helping people with their car's mechanical woes, tire problems, pumping gas and lastly achieving the dream of owning a car dealership. His great big smile and infectious good nature made him a friend to many. Art enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his precious grand and great-grandchildren. He liked his TV sports, hockey, curling and golf, usually second guessing the ref or ump! He was the proud owner of a Hole-in-One pin achieved in Kelowna after many years of trying. After Art and Miriam retired to Kelowna in 1981 they traveled in their RV all over Canada and the USA making friends everywhere they went. They returned to the prairies in 2000 to be closer to family. Art lives on in the memories of his wife Miriam, daughters Laurel (Michael) Bailey, Linda (Edward) Fox, son Ron (Shelley) and grandchildren Alene (Nick), Dena (Jason), Erik (Caroline), Kris, Olivia, Ryleigh, step grandchild Blair (Jenny) baby Hailey, and great-grandchildren Dominick, Connor, and Paige. A family service will be held at a later date. ON THE ROAD AGAIN
