Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURRAY DAVID BAIN April 18, 1954 - May 20, 2008 With family at his side following a courageous battle with liver disease Murray entered into eternal rest. Murray was predeceased by his Dad, David Bain on July 10, 2004 and his maternal grandparents Alexander Cruickshank June 25, 1954 and Millie Cruickshank July 9, 1993. Murray is survived by his loving wife Marian, son Alexander, daughter Stephanie. Also survived by his mother Doris Bain, sister Heather (Gunter, daughter Kristin and her family). Murray was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended Sargent Park School and Daniel MacIntyre High School. Upon graduation he entered the Winnipeg Police Service as a cadet on July 5, 1972, where he remained until his retirement November 7, 1998 holding the position of constable. Not enjoying his two day retirement he started a new career as a registration investigator for the Manitoba Gaming Control Commission where he remained until his passing. On weekends and holidays you would find him at Sunset Beach cutting down trees, moving rocks and gabbing with the neighbours. Murray was a loving son, brother, husband, father, uncle and great-uncle. But most of all he was a friend to all. Murray David Bain will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. WE LOVE YOU Murray, wished us to remember that our special moments with him will bring healing laughter through grieving tears. Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 26, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. It's been 15 years since you closed your eyes. You joined Mum and Dad and your brother-in-law Gunter. You have a new niece and nephew. They will learn about you when they get older.
