RAE A. MCLURE (nee FOORD) Peacefully with family present, Rae passed away on May 18, 2008 at Concordia Place at the age of 82 years. Rae is survived by her children Ted (Patsy), Len (Sue) of Dauphin, MB, Rod (Hazel), loving grandmother to Sherry (Brian Aird), Randy (Jodi), Kelly (Sami), Robert (Kristy), Jaymie (Rob Anderson), Kimberly, Jessica (Brett) and great-grandchildren Kevin and Cory Aird, Jake McLure, Maya Haddad. Rae is also survived by one brother Frank (Eleanor) Foord of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Rae was predeceased by her husband Hugh in 1995. She was proud to have been born, raised and schooled in Transcona. Rae graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Boniface Hospital in 1947. She was the Head Nurse on 7A and retired in 1971 from St. Boniface Hospital. Rae strongly supported the St. Bartholomew Anglican Church for many years. Rae along with her husband Hugh loved to travel. Enjoying their early retirement as snowbirds, as well as many trips to the British Isles and Europe. A private family service will take place, with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to the staff of Concordia Place for their care, compassion and support shown to mom and her family.
