ARNOLD LESLIE ASHCROFT It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Arnold Ashcroft, beloved husband, father and grandfather on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 72 years. Arnold will lovingly be remembered by Rita (Boulet), his loving wife of 50 years of marriage. He leaves to mourn four children and their spouses, Robert and Paula Ashcroft, Ronald and Cindy Ashcroft, Sharon and Richard Wright, Rachelle Ashcroft and Maurice Thiessen. He also leaves four grandchildren whom he adored, Mitch, Brandon, Kendall and Lindsay. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant, presiding. A special thank you to Dr. Brian Rumboldt at the Assiniboine Clinic for extending himself in providing excellent and compassionate care. Thank you to Dr. Walters and the peritoneal clinic staff. Thank you to the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care staff for the extraordinary care and kindness provided to our husband, dad and family during this difficult time.
