DONALD (DON) WILLIAM NERBAS It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Don Nerbas peacefully at his home. Remaining to cherish Don's memory are his wife of 54 years, Adrienne; his sons, Bruce (Rose) and Robert (Laverne), his daughter Sharon (Allen); his precious grandchildren, Donald Jr., Alex, Brealin and Michael, his brother Grant (Nadia) and many nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Mary, his brother Fred and his sisters, Helen and Pat. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Dad (and Mom too) were Pinawa Pioneers ; that small group of people who established the townsite and A.E.C.L. facilities along the Winnipeg River in the early 1960's. After retirement they moved back to Winnipeg where they had many years to enjoy the company of friends and family, and especially to watch and help their grandchildren find their way in the world. A memorial service to honour Don's life will be held on Tuesday, May 27 at 2:00pm in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
