J. VICTOR LECLAIR December 30, 1919 - May 24, 2008 It is with great sadness the family announces J. Victor LeClair passed away peacefully into the arms of God, May 24, 2008 at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Elsie LeClair of 54 years. His sons, Andy (Joyce), Brad (Rachelle), Darren (Joanne) and daughter-in-law Monique. His grandchildren, Amber (Tomasz), Tyler, Jordan, Alex, Jeremy, Kiley, Bianca, Ross, Eric, Dylan and great-grandson Hudson. Victor is predeceased by his son Brian. He is also predeceased by his great-grandson Sebastjan. Victor grew up in the Selkirk area. He served in the Canadian Armed Services from 1941 to 1945. He eventually settled in Winnipeg, married and raised his family while working for CN for 39 years. He retired from CN in 1984. Special thanks to the staff of 6A Elder Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital. We thank you all for the respect and caring you shared with Victor, Elsie and the family during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Victor's memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Siloam Mission or a charity of your choice. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Pentecostal Church, 955 Wilkes, Winnipeg, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
