Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD ALLAN TENNYCK With heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father and grandfather on May 22, 2008 with family at his side. Ron is survived by his loving wife Josie (nee Holdsworth), son Michael (Robin) and precious grandchildren Kelsi and Brendan. Sister Cathy (Jerry), brother John (Valaree) and their families all of British Columbia, Aunt Rose Lock (Jim) and many cousins and their families. Predeceased by his parents Catherine and Edmund Jones. Ron was born on November 6, 1933 in Winnipeg and raised in West Kildonan, he was employed by Manitoba Telephone System retiring in 1988. Ron and Josie made many trips to Hawaii and in 1989 became Arizona snowbirds and spent 18 wonderful winters in Mesa. We wish to sincerely thank our family and so many wonderful friends and neighbours for their prayers, telephone calls, good wishes and visits. Also to Dr. P. Chochinov, nurse Arlene; Dr. A. Micflikier, nurse Heather for their excellent care over the years. Special thanks to Dr. A. Maksymiuk, nurse Marisa and Dr. N. Ahmed, nurse Tamara of Cancer Care for their excellent care. Also, to the Transcona Fire and Paramedics and staff at Concordia Hospital. As per Ron's wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made in Ron's memory to Cancer Care (McCharles Unit), 675 McDermont Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0V9; Special Olympics Manitoba Inc., 200 Main St., Winnipeg, R3C 4V9 or to a charity of one's choice.
