WILLIAM ARTHUR PRICE February 5, 1930 - May 25, 2008 Peacefully, on Sunday, May 25, 2008 Bill passed away at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 78 years. Bill is survived and will be missed greatly by his wife Joyce of 58 years and children William (Lorraine), Susan, Wendy (Allan), Donald, Theresa, and sister Jean Strong of Hamilton, Ontario; grandchildren Rob, Jennifer (Jason), Leanne (Marty), Ryan (Tracy), Michael, Justin, Ashley; great-grandchildren Blake, Kale, Kaden, Jackson, Carter, Kaitlyn and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Lillian Umberson and William Vaughn, Herbert Lunn Price and Edward Price (brother), Vic Shewchuck (brother-in-law); Laurie Price (daughter-in-law); Tyler Price (grandson) and Dale Spencer. Bill was born in Hamilton, Ontario, moving to Winnipeg in 1942 and joined the Army Reserve, Provost Regiment in 1949. Bill worked for the T. Eaton Company for 24 years and completed his career at the St. James Assiniboia School Division. Bill retired early due to being diagnosed with RP and volunteered for many years with CNIB and the Deer Lodge Centre. Bill loved his sports and his favorite teams were the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Winnipeg Jets Hockey, he enjoyed Opera music and the symphony Orchestra and he especially loved singing in the CNIB choir. Bill started the CNIB Polo Park Bears Bowling League with his partner Joyce which they enjoyed very much for many years. Bill also taught Sunday school at The St. James Anglican Church along with his wife Joyce. The family warmly thanks all the support from the Deer Lodge Centre and the Grace General Hospital staff. Service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Friday May 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. We will miss you DAD CHAPEL LAWN 885-9715
