MARION ROSE DELORES HRYHORCHUK Peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her residence, Rose Hryhorchuk (beloved mother of Curtis and Rory) passed away in her sleep. Rose was born July 21, 1934 to Albert and Verna Thorarinson and lived her life in Riverton and Ledwyn area. She married Tony in 1954. In 1974 Rose and Tony built Tony's Service Centre and operated it until 1985. Rose also worked at the Hecla Resort. Rose loved her farm home, her garden, her flowers, and her animals and the birds, which she took very good care of. She also enjoyed visits from family and friends. Rose is survived by and will be greatly missed by her sons Curtis (Marilyn) and Rory (Heather); her daughter-in-law Verna; her grandchildren, Ryan (Tracy), Niki, Rebekah, Kelly (Brandy), Mark and Scott; her great-grandchildren Magnus and Anika. Also mourning her are her sisters, Shirly (Walter), Janet (Jerry), Joy and Veronica; her brother Wayne (Trudy); brothers-in-law Phillip (Carol) and Dennis and numerous nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her husband Tony (2000), son Anthony (2003), granddaughter Kristy (1983) and an infant son (1966). Also gone ahead of her are her parents Albert and Verna and in-laws Alex and Anne, brothers-in-law, Carl, Joe and Jim. Funeral will be held in Riverton Hnausa Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 31 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Trudy Thorarinson will officiate with interment to follow at Riverton Cemetery. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
