ANDREW FREDRICK AITKEN Suddenly on Sunday, May 25, 2008 our beloved father, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the young age of 50 years. He was predeceased by his parents John and Marie Louise Aitken. Left to cherish Andrew's memory is his soul mate Cheryl Shaw; his six children, Gina (Wayne), Andy, Ricky, Erica, Dwayne (Jen) and Deanna (Dave); and his six grandchildren, Carlee, Cory, Adam, Alex, Mikita and Quinlan; brothers Gordon (Debby) and Walter (Brenda); sisters, Greta (Roger), Donna (Gil), Brenda (Tony) and Betty (Scot), as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and his special furry friend Cheech. Andrew really enjoyed being a full-time foreman at B M Construction, and working part-time for many years at Chicken Delight. He was a great father, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend who would give the shirt off his back to anyone he knew. Andrew Aitkin will be sadly missed but never forgotten. His life was full of kindly deeds, A helping hand in all our needs. Sincere and true in heart and mind A beautiful memory left behind. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R2B 2H8.
