MARIANNE MARTHA ERBACH (nee MEHNE) Suddenly, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Marianne Erbach on Sunday, May 25, 2008 in her home at the age of 70 years. Remaining to forever cherish Marianne's memory are her husband Walter of 45 years of marriage; children Robert, Kathy (Jamie) and Frank; and her granddaughter Elana. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Bruno and Marie Mehne. A resident of Winnipeg for the last 41 years, she was born in Berlin, Germany on October 1, 1937 and she still has numerous relatives and friends she still remained in contact with in Germany. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967 and worked here as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years. Marianne spent the main part of her career working at Central Park Lodge. Marianne's funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue. We would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital and at Health Sciences Rehab Hospital for their assistance, care and support during 2007.
