ELOISE (MAE) BUSS Peacefully at Oakview Place on Thursday, May 22, 2008 our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 89 years. Remaining to cherish Mae's memory are her daughter Shirley, son-in-law Vern, grand-children Melaney (Bill) and Craig (Carole). Her great-grandchildren who she adored Billy, Andrew, Kyle, Joshua and Sienna. She is also survived by her brother Jim and his wife Mary and brother-in-law Elmer Stronge as well as her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 1992, parents Andrew and Ella, her brothers Glenn and Stewart and her sister Betty. Mae was born January 5, 1919 in Redvers, Sask. and grew up in the Manor SK area. Eddie and Mae moved to Winnipeg in 1948 and spent the next 30 years in St. James until their retirement to Dauphin in 1978. Mae remained in Dauphin until December 2005. Mae's greatest joys were her family and her friends. She enjoyed gardening and taking road trips to explore the country. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Kotecha and the staff of Oakview Place for their care and love for Mae. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date in Dauphin. A celebration of Mae's life will be held on Saturday, May 31 at 10:00 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave. and Aubrey Street. Rev. Dr. Michael Wilson will be officiating.
