Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM HENRY TRICK SECOND WORLD WAR VETERAN Peacefully, in his sleep, at Ottawa General Hospital May 30, 2008, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Doris, loving father of Vivian (Richard) Thomson of Pinawa, David (Ann Lynch), Keith (Joanne Proulx) and Allen (Leith Coxford), all of Ottawa. William was born August 21, 1921 in Ottawa, the eldest son of William H. Trick and May Jessie McMeekin. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Arletta, Marilyn, and Edna, brothers Harold and Gerald. He is survived by his youngest brother George (Diane), Langley, BC. Dad was a caring gentle man, who loved his family and was loved in return. In April, Dad and Mom celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. Dad leaves to mourn his passing, his grandchildren: Clem (D'Arcy) Thomson, Cam (Mona) Thomson, Bruce (Karen) Thomson, Ian (Jennifer) Thomson. Blake (Heidi) Trick, Shelley (Bill) Sinn, Shannon (Darren) Featherstone, Amy Trick, Jason Trick, Jaime Trick, great- grandsons Travis, Cody, Ethan, Lane and Liam Thomson, Joseph and Bradley Trick, Gavin, Dillon and Braeden Sinn. As well, Dad is survived by nieces and nephews. In keeping with Dad's wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis Foundation.
