CHARLES WAYNE STEEDSMAN January 17, 1948 - May 24, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the death of Wayne (Charlie) on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 60 years. Remaining to forever cherish Wayne's memory are his sister Doreen Johnston; brother Don (Muriel) Steedsman; and his soul mate Gloria Everton who was always there for him; as well numerous nieces nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father and mother James and Bernice; daughter Monica; and sister Joan Heath. Born and raised in Deloraine, he graduated from Waskada High. Wayne spent his working years in sales travelling Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg. We will miss his glowing personality and wonderful sense of humour. A celebration of Wayne's life will be held on Monday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the Young United Church, located at the corner of Broadway and Furby Street, with Rev. Bob Gilbert, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3A 1P6 or to the charity of one's choice.
