JAMES MACKINNON 1922 - 2008 Jimmy died peacefully at Concordia Hospital on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. His only son predeceased him in 1993. Jimmy left to mourn his loving wife Norma of 64 years, beloved granddaughter Kathleen and daughter-in-law Leonie who enriched our lives with love and joy. He also leaves his sister Jean Peppin of Rockford Ill. and Irene (Bob) of Thunder Bay, ON, brothers-in-law, Reg (Jeanne) of St. John, NB, Laurie (Betts) of China, Ken (Florence) of PEI and Jerry (Edie) of Traverse Bay, MB. Jim served in the Air Force for four years. He was involved in scouting for many years. He was employed for 47 years at James Shaen Ltd. Upon retiring, Jim and Norma enjoyed travelling with the seniors groups. Cremation has taken place. A service of celebration will be held at Immanuel United Church at Kimberley and Golspie on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Beth Rutherford officiating.
