MADELINE DOYLE December 25, 1920 May 27, 2008 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Madeline Doyle on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the age of 87 years at Victoria General Hospital. Remaining to forever cherish Madeline's memory are her beloved sister Eveline of Winnipeg; and nieces and nephews in Vancouver, BC. She was predeceased by her sisters Alice Henderson, Nora Dunsmore, Claire Doyle and Marguerite Potter. An avid golfer, she enjoyed her time at the Charleswood Golf Course and winter would find her at the Curling Rink. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 4 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church, 1707 John Brebeuf Place, with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson, V. G., presiding. Entombment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue. A special word of appreciation to Dr. Lowden and the nurses and staff of Victoria General Hospital, who cared for Madeline. In lieu of flowers, we invite friends to make donations in Madeline's memory to the Heart Stroke Foundation, 200 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6.
