Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH FONTAINE With loving hearts, The Fontaine family announces the passing of their dear Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-great-grandmother Elizabeth (Elize) Fontaine (nee Courchene) on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 12:45 p.m. Elize had embarked on her journey to heaven to spend her eternal life with those who have passed before her. Elize was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years Felix Fontaine. She was also predeceased by her mother Sara Courchene (nee Bunn), and father Morris Courchene. Elize was born in her community of Fort Alexander on August 4, 1922. Elize was blessed with eleven children, four who have passed on at an early age, Marge, Debbie, Eddy and Elery. She leaves behind her seven children, Isabelle (Peter), Larry (Jean), Dianne (Pat), Ronnie (Peggy), Wayne (Carol), Lorna, Ruby (Gerald). Elize had always taught her family of 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren to always be close and to love and take care of each other. The Fontaine family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of the George M. Guimond Care Center and especially to Kathy Settee and Gail Lecoy. Thanks goes to Dr. Sabina Ijaz and all the people who came to support the family during this time of need. Wake services will be held at the residence of Wayne Fontaine. Funeral Service will be held at the St. Alexander Parish in Fort Alexander on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that any flower donations be made through a monetary contribution. Cremation to follow. Pallbearers will be Shawn Chippeway, Mark Courchene, Alvin Fontaine, Farrell Guimond, Norbert Fontaine, Jason Bruyere. Honorary pallbearers will be Emmy Lou Sinclair, Jolene Peebles, Wenonah Fontaine, Cherie Fontaine, Laura Bruyere, Susie Fontaine, Cindy Guimond, and Todd Courchene.
