MARIE HAGLUND In Loving Memory On June 1, 2008, Marie Haglund peacefully passed away surrounded by family and friends at Riverview Hospital. A loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marie will be missed and lovingly remembered. She is survived by her devoted husband, Sven; her four children, Donna, Sondra, Geoff and Dean; her four grandchildren, Janet, Billy, Mark and Tenanye; three great-grandchildren, Brendan, Savanna and Kalen; sisters, Suzanne and Sally and brother, Ben. Mom enriched our lives with her love for her family, her love of nature and art, her community volunteerism and her compassion for the less fortunate. She was a gifted artist and seamstress, lover of poetry and literature. Marie grew up on their farm in Neuhorst, Manitoba with her parents and six siblings. On behalf of our family, we extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at the Riverview Hospital for their support and compassion, and for their care of our Mother in her final days. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oakbank United Church, 582 Balsam Crescent, Oakbank. Interment at Sunnyside Cemetery
