WALTER (WLADYSLAW) ANDREW BOZEK On Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Walter Bozek, aged 99 years. He leaves surviving his son Alexander and wife Daphne of Stonewall, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many, many good friends and neighbours. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret and parents Tomasz and Julia Bozek, four sisters and one brother. Born on August 03, 1908 in Stubno, Poland. Walter came to Canada in 1928. He served overseas during the Second World War for the Canadian Armed Forces. Walter married Margaret in 1946 in Beausejour. He lived and farmed in Grand Marais until retiring to Selkirk in 1976. Visitation will be held on Friday June 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m. also in the chapel with Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. Interment will take place in the Jackfish Lake Cemetery. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
