STANLEY OSTIUK It is with sadness that the family of Stan Ostiuk announces his sudden passing at the age of 82 years on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Left to mourn is his wife Elsie; daughters Beverley, Carol (Ron Raymack), Terry (Arnie Wilson), Debbie (Don Schmidt) and Sharon (Doug Jones). He also leaves his nine grandchildren who he was wildly proud of; Jason (Vera), Tara, Mark (Jennifer), Jamie, Ryan (Julie), Matthew, Michael, Amanda and Kendra. Dad will be remembered for his inventive gardening where he could always make something grow. His grandchildren will fondly remember the times spent with grandpa on the farm where he kept a horse which couldn't be ridden but was for the kids. Rest in peace dad, your days of suffering are over. At dad's request cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
