Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE DENNIS On Wednesday, June 4, 2008, Auntie Anne passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Fred Douglas Lodge at the age of 99 years. Remaining to forever cherish Auntie Anne's memory are her sister Jo Alexander; nieces Darlene Petrelli (Adolfo) of Winnipeg, Corinne McDougall (Bill) of Niagara Falls, ON; nephew Ken Kolson of Chillawack, BC; two great-nieces; three great-nephews; three great-great-nieces; and one great-great nephew in Canada and the U.S.A; as well as cousins in Winnipeg and California. She was predeceased by her parents Matthew and Catherine; sisters Mary and Rose; as well as her brothers, Frank, Steve and Michael. Born on December 12, 1908 in Ladywood, Manitoba, as a child, Auntie Anne resided in Beausejour, MB, but most of her adult life she lived in Winnipeg. Auntie Anne lived a wonderful long life. She always enjoyed being with family and friends. When she was younger she enjoyed travelling and bowling. Auntie Anne enjoyed a good game of cards especially rummy where we always had to play for 25 cents a game. A memorial service for Auntie Anne will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fred Douglas Lodge, 1275 Burrows Avenue. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Fred Douglas Lodge for their excellent care of Auntie Anne and all their help and support. We will miss you, but we know that you are at peace now.
