BETTY ANN MACKO (nee PAWLUK) July 10, 1944 June 4, 2008 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Betty Macko after a courageous battle with cancer. Betty was predeceased by her parents Nick and Elsie Pawluk, and her brother Roger. Betty is survived by her husband John, daughter Teresa (Brian) and son Jamie; grandchildren Alyssa, Brendan and Tia; sisters Dwyla (Ricky) Campbell and Tanis (Greg) Walker, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Betty was born, raised and married in Teulon and was proud of her Ukrainian heritage. She loved to play bingo, play the accordion and loved to bake. Betty walked a mile into town every day to have coffee with friends, relatives and neighbours. She will be sadly missed. Thanks go out to the Health Sciences Centre I.C.U. and the Concordia Hospital staff for all of their efforts. A viewing will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon.
