DAVID JEROME LYSOHIRKA December 25, 1942 - June 3, 2008 It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our loving husband, dad, grandpa at Riverview Health Centre with his family by his side. Leaving to cherish his memories: his loving wife Sandra, son David (Mik), daughter Sherri, grandchildren Cameron, Brandon, Kathryn, Lyvia, uncle Victor Lysohirka and Bill Lysohirka (Flin Flon), family and friends. Dave was predeceased by his parents Pauline Peter Lysohirka and mother-in-law Vera Sigurdson. Dave grew up in Flin Flon before moving to Winnipeg. He was employed at Motor Coach for many years. Dave was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and hockey. Special thanks to Sharon Labine (nurse) for her kindness and compassion, Palliative Care nurses, Dr. Maksymiuk (CancerCare) Frank Rogoway (volunteer driver and friend), Darlene and staff (Tyndall Park Safeway Pharmacy). Special thanks to family and friends who have been there for Dave through his struggle with cancer. He loved and appreciated the many visits. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers: David and Cameron Lysohirka, David Sigurdson, Ronnie Cameron, Trevor McKenzie, Wayne McTavish, Darren Hanslip. Honorary Pallbearers: John LaPorte, Siggie Podzuck, Ray Mackus.
