KENNETH ERNEST WHALE Born in Winnipeg Manitoba on May 16, 1953, suddenly passed away on May 18, 2008 at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. He is predeceased by his father Derek Whale. Ken, a loving father, is survived by his daughter and son and will be greatly missed by his mother, brother and other family members. His kindness and caring will not be forgotten by his family and many friends. The family is grateful for the love and concern of friends and neighbors and also wish to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the ICU Unit at Lions Gate Hospital. Donations in Ken's memory may be made to the ICU unit, Lions Gate Hospital Foundation, 231 E.15th St. North Vancouver, BC V7L 2L7 (www.lghfoundation.com) Memorial services will be held on June 9 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Francis-In-The-Wood Church at 4773 South Piccadilly Rd., West Vancouver.
