CARL ARTHUR ANDERSON It is with both sadness and joy for his release that we announce the passing of our father and grandfather, Carl Arthur Anderson, at Deer Lodge Center on May 29, 2008. Born in Toronto, Ontario September 8, 1936 to parents Ena and Clifford Anderson. Dad resided in Winnipeg most of his life. He was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve for six years. Owner of Anderson Dental Laboratories for 12 years. He finished his dental career with Associated Crown and Bridge. He was a lifelong member of the Fort Garry Curling Club, where he proudly served on the board of directors for 40 years and was President of the club from 1970-1971. Carl was also a long term member of the Canadian Legion. He will be forever remembered and loved by his son Guy Anderson, daughter-in-law, Silke and granddaughters, Sharon and Michelle. His daughter Janet Rody, son-in-law, Barrie and grandchildren, Erin, Elsa and Sean. He is fondly remembered by Leslie Anderson, mother of Guy and Janet. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff on 6 East at Deer Lodge Center for taking wonderful care of our father for the past four years. Cremation has taken place and a private service will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba. Loving and kind in all his ways, Upright and just to the end of his days, Sincere and kind in heart and mind, What a beautiful memory he left behind. His weary hours and days of pain, His troubled nights are past; And in our aching hearts we know He has found sweet rest at last. -Author Unknown Our father has set sail for Valhalla Mosaic Funeral Services.
