MARGARET JOAN KALINSKI (EZINICKI) Margaret passed away peacefully with her husband Len by her side on June 6, 2008 at the age of 62. She was predeceased by her mother Ruth in 1993. Margaret's memory will be cherished by her husband Len, her father John, her sisters, Marilyn (Bud) Shiaro and Laurie (Andy) Miller, several nieces and nephews, a large extended family and many friends. In the final days of her journey, Margaret wrote the following words to be shared with the many people that were part of her life. My life has been a wonderful adventure. Family and friends have always been the most important part of my life. I lived my life the way I wanted; laughed, loved, and although I had some trials and tribulations, I was blessed to have a wonderful caring husband, great parents, sisters, and lots of wonderful extended family who cared about me and were always there when I needed them. I married Len Kalinski in 1966 and I worked for the government as a secretary. Later, my mobility became limited, but I had a new plan volunteer work. I loved working as a palliative care volunteer at Riverview Health Center. This is probably the most important and rewarding job I ever had. I was blessed to visit the palliative care patients for eight years. Margaret and her family would like to thank Jerry Floom and the many homecare workers who provided care, support, and companionship throughout the years. A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, with Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating. Interment to follow at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Children's Wish Foundation or a children's charity of your choice. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery # 1 Green Acres Lane, (204) 222-3241 Life stories may be shared with friends and family across the globe at www.mem.com
