Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCE YVONNE MARTIN 1927 - 2008 Peacefully on Sunday morning, June 8, 2008 Yvonne went home to be with her Lord and Saviour. She was predeceased by her parents Germain and France Martin of Hodgson, MB, her brother(s) Peter of Winnipeg and Simon of Winnipeg, sister Jacqueline and husband Leonard Hartog of Hodgson, MB, niece Darlene of Hodgson, MB and two infant sisters. She is survived by her brother John and sisters, Germaine, Louise (John), Suzanne, Marie (Willie) and Denise (Bill), all of Winnipeg, sisters-in-law Katie and Vi, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her family was a very important part of her life. She was born in Fisher Branch, MB and grew up on a farm east of Hodgson in the Lee Lake District. She came to Winnipeg in the early 1950s and worked as a diet cook at the Municipal Hospitals until her retirement in October 1987. She enjoyed cooking at the Calvary Temple Camp a good 40 or more years, as well as cooking at the Fisher Bay Bible Camp with her sister Jacqueline. Special thanks for the loving care and attention she received from the staff at Parkview Nursing Home, Winnipeg, MB, 4th Floor these past eight months, and the Victoria Hospital 5th Floor Unit South medical staff this past week. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Calvary Temple Camp, in care of 400 Hargrave Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 3A8. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12 at Calvary Temple at 11:00 a.m. in the Buntain Chapel. Viewing one half hour prior to the service.
