Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAROL KURT STRACENY On June 3, 2008 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Karol Straceny passed away with his loving family by his side. He was born October 10, 1941 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. In 1968 he came to Canada working various jobs until gaining employment with Pauwels Canada where he worked until his retirement. Karol loved spending time with his family, coaching his boys in hockey and time spent out at the family cottage at Lee River. Karol leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 40 years, Eva, his two children Charles and Kurt (Yvonne) and the Schmeida family, brother-in-law Julius Farkas and family in Bratislavl, as well as many close friends.
